Profile/Experience of the Firm
The firm Madan Sah & Associates (Chartered Accountants) is registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal hereinafter referred to as ICAN, the regulatory body for accounting and auditing profession in Nepal. The firm was established in August 01, 2007. The firm is led by the principal Mr. Madan Kumar Sah FCA, chartered accountant, who is involved in the field of auditing, accounting, finance and taxation since 2005. He is well versed with the different kind of audit assignments e.g., Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Donor funded audit, Bank audit, in-depth audit assignments, due diligence review assignments to name a few. He has worked with the lead audit firm T.R Upadhya & Co. (Chartered Accountants), then associated with KPMG International in the position of manager from 2005-2010. During his tenure with T.R Upadhya & Co., he led the various statutory & Project audit assignments. He has completed and finalized the statutory and tax audits of Bottlers Nepal ltd, Nepal Telecom, Nepal Oil Corporation, Janakpur Cigarette factory and Laxmi Bank to name a few.
Apart from statutory audit his exposure in donor funded audit assignments is commendable, he has audited Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, GIZ Nepal, Concern Worldwide Nepal, FHI Nepal, Nepal CRS Company, Procurement process review of the Government institutions funded by the World Bank, Global Fund to name a few including the Projects funded by European Union. Mr. Sah also has an international exposure of donor-funded audit; he has completed the global fund assignment of Philippines.
